David Moore

Moore is a former division 1 starting QB at Central Michigan University, and CFL QB for the Ottawa Redblacks. In high school he was a highly touted recruit out of GA, garnering offers from Purdue, Oregon State, Illinois, Syracuse, Utah and Wake Forest. He committed to play football at Memphis before transferring to CMU.

 

Moore started his private QB training company out of Charleston called DMQB training where he coaches over 50 QBS in the lowcountry. Moore is the QBS coach and pass game coordinator at Oceanside Collegiate Academy, and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge at the position.

Will Grier

Grier attended Davidson Day School in Davidson, North Carolina. As a junior, he threw for a national record 837 yards in a game, breaking the old record of 764. As a senior, he had 4,989 passing yards with a nation-leading and North Carolina record 77 touchdowns. He also rushed for 1,251 yards with 13 touchdowns. He was named the Parade All-American Player of the Year and Mr. Football USA. For his career, Grier had 14,565 passing yards, a state record 195 touchdown passes, 2,955 rushing yards, and 31 rushing touchdowns.

Grier was rated by Rivals.com as a four-star recruit and was ranked as the second-best dual-threat quarterback in his class and 46th player overall. Grier was offered scholarships to play football at Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Wake Forest. He committed to play quarterback at the University of Florida

Will was a two-year starter at West Virginia where he was a Heisman Trophy Finalist and fourth-team All-American in 2018...Maxwell Award Finalist, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Top 5 Finalist, Manning Award Finalist...Finished career with 71 touchdown passes and 7,354 career passing yards at West Virginia, ranking second and third in both categories in program history...Posted a 65.7 career completion percentage...Finished 2018 season as the NCAA active leader in passing yards per game (305.6)...ranked fifth in the NCAA in career pass efficiency (165.1)...Threw 37 touchdowns in 2018, second all-time in West Virginia history, and second in the nation in passing touchdowns per game...Amassed 3,864 passing yards in 2018, third in West Virginia history, and third in the nation in passing yards per game...Completed a career-best 67.0 percent of his passes in 2018...Threw for four or more touchdowns in nine games...In 2017, started 11 games before the season ended with a hand injury...All-Big 12 Second Team...Threw for 3,490 yards and 34 passing touchdowns in 2017...Sat out 2016 season due to transfer requirements...Played in six games for Florida in 2015, completing 106-161 passes for 1,204 yards, 10 touchdowns, and three interceptions.

Grier was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the third round (100th) overall of the 2019 Draft.

Jamaal Birch

WR's

Birch is from from San Antonio, Texas where he attended William Howard Taft High School. Coach Birch went on to play football for the Highlanders of MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois. He began his coaching career assisting Coach Chad Grier at Oceanside Collegiate Academy in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

Coach Birch was the varsity wide receiver coach for the Landsharks, in addition to head coach of their Junior Varsity team. He coached at Oceanside for three years until joining Coach Grier at Providence Day. At PD he serves as the varsity wide receivers coach, and the head coach for the Junior Varsity team.
